Account Delivery Executive, Program Management

Odessa is seeking an Account Delivery Executive, Program Management, with experience in Software implementations to partner with our customers and internal stakeholders to consistently deliver high-value solutions to meet customer needs. The candidate will manage a portfolio of accounts through the full customer life cycle: late-stage sales, onboarding, implementation, retention, and expansion.  To be successful in this role you need to have an in-depth knowledge of the customer, effective knowledge of the product, and extensive domain expertise. 

This is a highly visible leadership role, capable of influencing and communicating with all levels of stakeholders at customers and across a highly matrixed Odessa environment.  The ultimate responsibility for customer satisfaction and success (both execution and financial) of all projects while leading a diverse team.  You are the “CEO” of the account(s): a trusted partner with the customer and an internal champion of sustainable and profitable growth. 


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction in the full life cycle
  • Drive the growth and profitability of accounts
  • Develop and meet account plans, identify and execute on opportunities to grow additional revenue
  • Provide a proactive, strategic, consultative, and insight-driven solutions approach to help the customer achieve their long-term vision
  • Responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with senior customer stakeholders
  • Ensure a positive and meaningful customer experience
  • Provide leadership for all internal team members: coach and mentor
  • Inspire and motivate team members, most of who are remote
  • Effectively communicate | active collaborator
  • Contribute to organization change by driving through internal roadblocks and passing best practices throughout the organization
  • Consistently drive value for customers and Odessa
  • Partner with all functions to achieve customer success
  • Lead teams to produce quality deliverables with reasonable deadlines
  • Escalation point for delivery teams
  • Customer advocate within the product group
  • Communicate customer needs to the product team for priorities and roadmap items
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical solutions


Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of senior client delivery experience
  • Knowledge of the Software Delivery Life-cycle models and ability to tailor as needed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Business Administration or similar field; Master’s preferred
  • Solid technical (functional or software engineering) background
  • Project management and consultative solutions selling experience
  • Strategic account management with a proven track record
  • Proven leadership skills, trusted advisor
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across a matrixed organization
  • Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage highly pressurized situations and adapt to rapidly changing processes and priorities
  • High emotional intelligence to adapt as needed, overcome challenges, defuse conflict and be resilient
  • Strong proactive problem-solving skills, detail-oriented
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Contracts negotiation experience
  • Preferably, experience in Equipment Leasing, Asset Finance, or ERP Software
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
