Primary role:

Odessa is seeking to hire a consultant to join its presales team. The candidate will help bring Odessa’s solutions to market via RFP/RFI responses, demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, etc. The candidate will also perform research on new geographies with an eye towards informing Odessa’s overall product roadmap. This will include Odessa’s core lease management offering and a complementary set of techno-functional solutions that help customers with their digital transformation.

What you'll do:

• Assist and/or anchor face-to-face/online sales presentations and demonstrations of the product to prospective clients located in different countries as and when required

• Develop detailed plans to successfully execute demonstrations/proof-of-concept presentations

• Own pre-sales project management efforts from requirement capture to implementation handover

• Analyse and break down client business requirements/models to recommend how best to leverage existing products, in preparation for the demonstrations

• Develop and maintain backlog to inform and influence overall product roadmap

• Design changes and enhancements to company's products to meet client business-models and/or enhance roadmap

• Assist and/or Anchor responses to RFI’s and RFP’s

• Provide sales support related to proposal preparation, partner management, sales event organization

Basic qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience in the lending lifecycle from origination through servicing and end-of-term contract management

• Hands-on experience in anchoring demonstrations for prospective customers in various geographies

• Experience in business-to-business presales support (RFP/RFI responses, demos, etc.)

• Experience working with cross-functional (DEV, QA) teams to conceptualize and develop proof-of-concept solutions

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in business administration, accounting, economics, computer science, engineering, MIS or related field

• Experience working with customers to gather requirements or as a product owner / proxy product owner to drive the application backlog

• Technical acumen and intellectual curiosity

• Strong communication skills

• Proven ability to manage client and internal stakeholder expectations

Preferred qualifications:

• Deep familiarity with leading enterprise-grade banking or lending applications

• Exposure to Asia Pacific and African geographies

• Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies, including Agile

• Experience working with SQL, relational databases

• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence
