Primary role:

Odessa is looking for a Head of Cloud to lead the implementation and growth of our new cloud offering. In this techno-commercial role, you will work cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Product Engineering, Operations, and more to drive enterprise-level SaaS roadmaps, determine go-to-market strategies and own all customer-facing deliverables. As a strong technical leader, you will pioneer business efforts to build a sustainable SaaS product line and ensure financial performance of this vertical.

What you'll do:

  • Own the overall go-to-market strategy for Odessa’s SaaS offerings
    • Work with the sales team to develop pricing, legal and delivery framework
    • Participate in RFP responses, demonstrations and prospecting
    • Support ongoing sales efforts and pipeline
  • Own the product roadmap for Odessa’s SaaS offerings
    • Develop effective roadmaps consistent with our go-to-market strategy
    • Influence core leasing product roadmap to support overall Cloud strategy
    • Assist in the development of “bank-in-a-box” strategies to simplify the deployment customer experience
    • Work with Engineering teams to prioritize backlog to support development of large-scale, enterprise-grade solutions on Azure
    • Develop overall strategy for solution delivery and support
  • Own the delivery and operational support for all SaaS offerings
    • Engage with customers to define right-size solutions and ensure fit into customer application landscape
    • Own the technical engagement model (development, testing, certification, audits, etc.) to deliver Cloud solutions
    • Actively seek out automation opportunities (SecDevOps) to optimize resource usage
    • Driver overall compliance reviews, security posture, diagnostics & monitoring of offering
    • Manage operational support pre- and post-production, serving as the final escalation point for end customers

Basic qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in developing and designing SaaS products, preferably in BFSI domain
  • 5+ years of experience in managing Cloud-based environments supporting large scale SaaS applications serving millions of users
  • Leadership experience of managing teams of 30-50 people
  • Proven track record in P&L and financial management

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with product-organizations that develop enterprise-grade lending solutions
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Azure
