Business Analyst (Spanish Speaking)

As a Business Analyst on one of Odessa's implementation teams, you’ll learn to be a subject matter expert on LeaseWave, our Equipment Leasing and Finance software product. You’ll be engaging with our exciting clients primarily based in Central America on LeaseWave software implementations while receiving guidance from your Business Architect and collaborating with teammates including Sr. Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers and more. You'll also be playing a key role in translating a large set of product and implementation content. Most importantly, you’ll be a key member of the larger organization who will enable you to speak your mind and facilitate your growth and success.

Core Responsibilities

  • Translating a large product and implementation content project
  • Will be responsible for analyzing a client’s business and translating it into business requirements for the system while providing support to your remote teammates in our Bangalore office during design, development and testing phases to see the requirements through to completion.
  • Understand and describe processes within the business domain
  • Conduct user application training
  • Assist with design reviews for internal and client groups.
  • Assist with client functional questions and support

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and/or similar and relevant major
  • 1+ year experience in a relevant role with an IT company, ideally FinTech
  • Appreciation for an autonomous yet collaborative work environment
  • Proficiency with MS Excel
  • Strong fluency in Spanish with experience with verbal/written translation between English and Spanish

Experience in 2+ of the following:

  • Experience in agency, consulting or related position/s
  • Experience with the full spectrum of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Familiarity working with remote teams, team members and clients
  • An understanding of and appreciation for the pace and format of agency work environments
  • Expertise in software requirement gathering/writing and design process
  • Experience writing/executing user test cases
  • Understanding of basic client/server and database architectures.
  • Experience in the analysis of business requirements in the Financial domain (preferably with lease/loan experience)
  • Ability to work through complex user scenarios and software design challenges
  • Ability to resolve/diffuse conflict and be comfortable in tense situations
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • Basic SQL and JIRA capabilities

Working Conditions

  • Travel approximately 20-30%.
