Primary role:

This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic organization as part of the company’s Human Relations team (India). This role would be both a strategic and hands-on operational role. You will work with senior leaders to establish a People Strategy which seeks to further business objectives. Your role is critical in executing our people initiatives by developing and implementing a framework for an overall People Strategy, driving HR functional excellence and overall process improvement. You will lead a team of HR Business Partners.

What you'll do:

People Strategy:

  • Work with business stakeholders to develop and grow Odessa’s org-wide initiatives
  • Develop a conceptual framework to manage a multi-pronged People Strategy covering business partnership, talent management, employee experience, learning, and development, etc.
  • Focus on leadership development for executive and mid-level management teams
  • Leverage People Analytics to refine and grow agile HR practices

Business Partnership:

  • Create and execute processes to manage the entire employee life cycle with business partnership teams
  • Monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
  • “Take to market” HR programs adjusting strategies to the needs of different business units
  • Coach and advise business partners to facilitate organization change

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Grow and evolve Odessa’s existing compensation and benefits framework through a partnership with business and finance teams
  • Understand competitor practices and market data so as to influence compensation strategy

Talent Management:

  • Build a talent pipeline framework to grow the next generation of leaders through talent management programs and succession planning
  • Implement robust talent identification, assessment and development processes
  • Support the leadership community to build great teams via training programs and a robust measurement framework

 Performance Management:

  • Drive and facilitate effective performance management processes across the organization
  • Foster a continuous feedback culture for both evaluative and development feedback

  • Has high business acumen to understand key market drivers and priorities
  • Is willing to experiment with new and progressive People Strategy ideas
  • Enjoys working a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Uses data and metrics to substantiate intuitions and measure program effectiveness
  • Brings the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a strong bias for action

Qualifications

  • Post graduate degree in or related to Human relations, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, Behaviour Sciences
  • 8 to 10 years of works experience (with at least 6 years as a business partner)

Desirable:

  • Experience in product or IT is desirable
  • Has experience working with global teams
